Funny, hundreds and hundreds, if not a few thousand rounds through my Glock 30 and not a single jam, not one. Accurate, easy recoil, comfortable even in my big mitt, simple to strip and clean...
Ditto my 86 F-250, sold it with about 195,000 miles on the odometer, never a major problem, not one. Fuel pump once, needed a water pump and an alternator once too, even had to put a new clutch in it. Not too shabby for the Glock of motorcars.
No offense, of course.

Unk:
In a short time I will be jumping into my Ford to catch a flight to Mission San Diego de Alcala. I won't be taking my Glock cause the airlines look down on that sort of thing.
Best Wishes,,,,,,

PenName, a mrclean avatar for Unk is a great idea.

HI all! Sorry I haven't been around much. Just got back from spending time at a spiritual retreat, in an ashram in California. No TV, no phone, no radio, no newspapers, no net, no talking, vegetarian food, just focusing on the inner self and seeing what is there, and where to go from here. Healing mind, spirit and body. Being with nature in the meditation gardens, walking the beach, taking in the magnificent sunsets and sunrises. Just being. And putting things in perspective. I recommend it highly!

No Cin, no talking, except in a whisper, and only if necessary. The quietude gives one the opportunity to explore the inner realms without disruption of others. However, we did chant and say prayers aloud in the the temple.

I'd nearly forgotten about this place. So I clicked on it, and they want me to log in? OK, I enter my name. Now they want a password. A password? So I enter the same password I use for every secure password-protected site everywhere. Nope, it's rejected. Sigh.
I type it again, VERY carefully. Still no joy. Do you suppose Hostboard ASSIGNS passwords? So I click on the "forgot your password" link, and they ask for my email address. I supply it, and they promise to email back to me sometime soon.
When they do so, I find that they not only DID assign some strange password, but that I was obliged to alter my name as well. This is what's known as user-vicious software.
And all this to say I haven't died yet.

Hey Flint.
At least they gave you a new password. Me, they just banned.
I guess I shouldn't have pointed out that it was just the internet they were worrying about, not real life.
I wish them well in their own little world, with their own precious ideas, undisturbed by anyone who graduated beyond the eighth grade.
I have to admit though, it IS the first time that I have ever seen anyone petrified of my degree from Iowa. For Chissakes. It is Big Ten! Surely they can handle that!
